India-Pak talk possible only when curfew is lifted In Kashmir: Imran Khan

By Syed Rifaquat Ali

The Pakistan prime minister, Imran Khan, emphatically stated that dialogue between India and Pakistan on multiple issues, including Kashmir dispute, is possible only when India lifts curfew in Kashmir and release thousands of people who are in detention since August 5.

Imran Khan was speaking during the opening ceremony of Kartarpur corridor which facilitates five thousand Sikhs from all over the world to pay obeisance each day at the Kartarpur Gurudwara where Baba Guru Nanak Dev died. Imran Khan underlined that there is massive human rights violation in Kashmir and Kashmiris are being treated worst than animals.

It is a matter of great shame for international media and United Nations to remain a silent spectator to such a horrendous treatment by the Indian army in Kashmir. It seems that the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi has lost his mental balance and is cajoled by his coterie of uncivilised half-baked communal ministers.

India has become a laughing stock in the eyes of the whole world due to her multiple bizarre actions which are not acceptable to a majority of Indians. The sagging Indian economy has thrown millions of Indian youth out of job, but the BJP keeps gloating about its functioning. India is a democratic country and secular in nature. But today, the country has turned into anon-egalitarian society and totally communal.

The BJP government follows the diktat of RSS which breeds hatred towards the Muslims and Christians very substantially. It is for this reason that the Akal Takht in Amritsar has pleaded with the Centre to ban RSS. In this context, the Centre is nonplussed.

This is no good for a country which has a population of over a billion people. If similar trend continues in India, there could be total anarchy. It is time that the BJP mend its ways, otherwise the future looks dark and bleak and India will disintegrate beyond comprehension. Think about it Mr. Modi seriously before it is too late.
