The Second Muslim Unity Conference in San Jose CA – 1/4
The second Annual Muslim Unity Conference was held at the SABA Islamic Center, San Jose on December 7, 2019 to promote Muslim unity by bringing Sunnis and Shias together. The unity conference initiative is sponsored by many organizations including the Northern California Islamic Council (NCIC) which is the prime mover. The NCIC, under the leadership Dr. Hatem Bazian, provides a unifying platform and voice for diverse Muslim organizations in Northern California, to facilitate cooperation and active engagement in the society, and to advocate for the interests of Muslim communities. The NCIS strives to promote peace, harmony and brotherhood between various Muslims sects, in particular the Sunni and Shia Muslims, by highlighting our common heritage and our common bonds. Manzoor Ghori of the Indian Muslim Relief and Charities briefs about situation in Kashmir
Manzoor Ghori of the Indian Muslim Relief and Charities briefed the Unity Conference about the situation in Kashmir. He has visited Kashmir recently to provide help on behalf of the IMRC. This video shows Manzoor Ghori speaking and a short video about the situation in Kashmir which remains under siege since August 5, 2019, when Modi government abrogated special status of the disputed territory.
